This orange chicken is pan licking good 🤤 A little more than 10 ingredients, but so easy @halfbakedharvestrecipe!
The goods:
1. 1-2 large chicken breasts
2. 4 tbsps soy sauce (low sodium)
3. 1/2 orange
4. 1 tbsp sesame oil
5. 2 tbsps rice vinegar
6. 2 tbsps hoisin sauce
7. 1 tsp minced garlic, about 2 cloves
8. 1/4 cup flour
9. 2 green onions
10. Sesame seeds
11. jasmin rice
12. 1-2 tsps red pepper flakes
13. 1 tsp ginger
14. Olive oil
Get to cooking:
1. Chop chicken into chunks and toss in flour and 2 tbsps soy sauce
2. In a bowl mix, juice from 1/2 an orange, remaining soy sauce, ginger, garlic, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes
3. Warm olive oil in a pan and cook chicken until crispy, about 4 minutes on each side
4. Pour sauce and bring to a boil, once boiled bring to a simmer for 10 min. Stir until sauce is thicker
5. Cook rice
6. Top rice with chicken, sesame seeds, and green onion
7. Enjoy :)
